Convair CV-580
After takeoff from Cabimas-Oro Negro Airport runway 06, the aircraft encountered difficulties to gain height. The tail struck a hill located 500 meters past the runway end and the aircraft crashed in a wooded area located one km further. Both pilots were killed while 11 other occupants were injured.
Douglas DC-9
On approach to Barquisimeto Airport, the crew encountered foggy conditions with limited visibility. On short final, the airplane descended below the glide until it struck the ground 1,015 meters short of runway threshold. On impact, the undercarriages were torn off and the airplane slid on its belly until it came to rest on the runway threshold, broken in two. A crew member and 22 passengers were killed while 27 other occupants were injured.
Convair CV-580
Crashed upon landing for unknown reasons. All 34 occupants escaped uninjured and the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.
Douglas DC-9
Four minutes after takeoff from runway 05 at Maturín-Quiriquire Airport, while climbing to an altitude of 1,500 meters, the airplane went out of control, entered a dive and crashed in a field located about 20 km from the airport. The aircraft disintegrated on impact and all 75 occupants have been killed.
Sud-Aviation SE-210 Caravelle
Upon landing, the right main gear partially collapsed and punctured the right wing. The airplane came to rest and was damaged beyond repair. There were no casualties.

Shortly after takeoff, while in initial climb, the aircraft went out of control and crashed. Both pilots were killed.
Fairchild F27
Few minutes after takeoff from Porlamar Airport, while climbing, the airplane struck the slope of Mt San Juan located few km from the airfield. The aircraft disintegrated on impact and all 23 occupants were killed.

The airplane christened 'Coco de Mono' crashed in unknown circumstances in Hato. The occupant's fate remains unknown. The accident occurred sometime in February 1958 (exact date unknown).
Douglas DC-3
The aircraft, chartered by the Socony Mobil Oil Company of Venezuela, took off on a special flight on 3 September at 0903LT from the Maiquetía International Airport on a through flight to Barinas. It carried a crew of 3 and 5 passengers. As the aircraft did not reach its destination nor any of the neighbouring airports that same day an emergency was declared. The wreckage was found on 12 September in the Penas Blancas Hills. There were no survivors.
Curtiss C-46 Commando
While cruising off Maracaibo, the airplane went out of control and crashed in unknown circumstances into the sea. SAR operations were conducted but eventually suspended few days later as no trace of the aircraft nor the four crew members was found.
